general observations nov 19 2009
so my bday is coming up and as sundays go i had to go attend music trivia with my friends... also good.. altho this is the first week they didn't win at least 2nd in a long time... so anyways... it turns out an old friend who wasn't from here came back here to visit... and by slight chance she was out tonight trying to damage her liver as a keep sake... and she picked me out.. she's cut her dreadlocks out since i saw her last and i didn't reconize her until i went over after i was flagged down and called for questioning... so it was neet to see someone come from away who only lived here for a short time come back and kick it old school and actually pick me outta a crowd... i didn't think i made that big of an impression on anyone...
so after the trivia i was walking home and i noticed a few things...
1st was that i was told that the waste management company is supposed to send out trucks last week to pick up general waste... like this time of year everyone has their leaves raked and set at the curb for pick up.... i have at least 20 "90c" clear hugh bags sitting at the curb for pick up along with 3 worn out monitors for computers as well as for four 5 gallon buckets full of general waste for pick up... but no one has come by to pick it up... so i was getting worried... i noticed tonight that everyone else has their stuff still out on the "CURB" for pick up... so i'm still ok... also...
i had "seafood" tonight.... muscles... apparently you can eat lost of these sea creatures.... but they don't really make a meal.... i got kinda bored after 20 or so....
maybe i was full.. either way i wasn't in the mood to eat anything after that... i wonder if they cook em fresh this time of year or were they frozen? or do they keep them alive in an artificial environment till some one orders a plate?
i had alot to say about other things before i started this blog... and as i got "indepth" for the last 2 items i forgot what i came here to write other then about fight night 2004.... so i'm just gonna skip to video games from what i was gonna write about.... before i left for trivia... i received a link to a blog where some dude is playing the new nintendo Wii pronounsed "nintendo WE" is the cheapest game system availible right now and unlike the PS3 that some people are dieing for they have released the Wii in plenty pre xmas... ps3 is only releasing some many copies to hype the product... i never thought i'd see the day that people would get shot or trampled for a video game console... maybe a video game... but not a console... but oh well... they can have it... i consider them stupider then my self... and i can't even paste together a sentence....
so i'm playing fight night 2004... i'm sure it was released in 2003 but as of jan 12 2005 it wasn't any good for online play... i guess fight night round 2 came out shortly before then... forcing any fans of the game to upgrade.... not right but that's the game world i guess... altho the only reason i bought the game is to play boxing with my friends... and what a great game... except that if i buy the current round 3 i'm scared that the game won't be online after january 2007... and it's not even that... my bday is tuesday and i've been warned not to go buying stuff before that date... so i'm guessing that someone is going to get me this game... and i'd feel real bad if someone bought me this game tuesday and then half way through the month of january i've just barely got a descent game play outta it... ea is so weird... i can still play "ea" 's nfs3hp online... it might be to old for my computer to handle it... but at least i could because it's not a game that requires a connection via a central system... you can easily connect via peer to peer ... the later versions of nfs have all had their down points with interface in that manner... i wish ea would stick to one form of interface that rocks... not sucks... and make it universal...
i don't know why i'm typing at this point... i'm tired and rambling... but i think i have some valid points for vid games.... i had some other valid points... but i forget what they are plus my typing is to sloppy and it's pissing me off from all the back spacing i'm doing... so i'm done... stay tuned for a new link or 2 with the new music soon
