recent driving observations

recently i took a couple of road trips.. one to Halifax and one to Fredericton... both occasions i observed several attempts of people of don't know heading my direction "drafting" me..... if you don't know what i mean when i say "drafting" i mean they pull really close in behind me and drive like that as long as they can... it really bothers me when people do that... it's never happened to me until recently... i reckon the price of gas and the popularity of racing and racing video games has made people aware of the benefits drafting... but on the highway i think is really dumb... i hope those people get several cracks from stones that get launched like on a dirt road...

i also noticed that while driving back from the country tonight that people would have their high beams on up till about what seemed about 20 feet away... not everyone... but say 1 outta 5 cars that were leading a series of cars...

i used to say that people should have to take a driving test once a year... i figured that would provide jobs and more revenue for the government... and i still feel that way... but now i think they should incorporate some sorta drivers Education into the test... but more than that still... I'm talking molding drivers into offensive and defensive road travelers... if you don't pass the test you shouldn't be on the road ...

that's my story... I'll stick with it for now....

as for what is going on recently... not alot... i start scuba lessons this weekend...

the leaves here on pei have pretty much done there spring thing... way early for pei... pei doesn't usually see foliage till late June... usually a couple of days before the solstice...

that's it for now
bye
