what do you mean? it works pretty good for me... maybe you just need to press pause and let it download ahead of the clip?

Trust me...tried that.

Even went so far as to download the GoogleVideo player AND the seperate movie file.

Its the codecs involved..... on some pc's, it just sucks, mine being one of them.

ahh so what your saying is that it's not the best player on your system... i wonder if anyone else has similar issues... i smell a new topic coming up... google is your friend fiend i suggest you send them and email and tell them your plite perhaps they have quick fix for you or they might just tell you to get more ram?

Google is your best friend "right now", only because they are a hot object, both stock-wise and field-wise (in the same way Microsoft was our best friend back in the 90's)

As far as I am concerned, google is good at search engining.... they should have never expanded to movie players, email programs OR instant messengers.

But that has nothing to do with my plite.... my pc needs more ram, naturally.

google video is still beta

google talk is just that... it has good audio aplicication and interface and google maps and google earth i could swear by.... i should be a smokes "person" for google... isn't blogspot hosted by a google affiliate?
that's all for now...?

P.S. there will always be something new and inovative to take over the market... at least as long as there is a market but don't get me started on that...

MS was never anyone's friend.

The people who thought so are the same group of morons who think aol is the best place to get on the internet. Issue's with google video are a more a reflection the crap that is MS Windows.

All the technologies Google has deployed so far have demonstrated the same smart design and implementation skills that made them the most effective search engine ever. Comparing MS and Google in this regard is like comparing a dog turd to a rolex.

I think Google is a very innovative company who is pusing the boundaries in many fields. They have a great attitude that seems to be influenced by the open source movement. Look at their email....it broke through with a new style of webmail interface, and destroyed the boundaries for email storage. They raised the bar by miles and asked nothing in return, while Apple, Microsoft, and yahoo (for example)would charge for 1/5 the storage and features. As far as I know, google video is the best in terms of storage and usage combined. Again, they are forcing others to stop charging for less, and get real about pricing. Google is in serious need of better interface designers IMO, but they are taking intelligent approaches to providing US with great services at no cost. I'd have to say they are my friend too.
