THE FIRST FRIDAY OF OCTOBER
i could be talking about the new season of lost or the new season of smallville... both are awesome.... i haven't been watching joey.... but i just realized it was into the second season... that might changed... i could talk about the new drum kit.... and i think i will ... i'll get to it at least... i could talk about the 2 or maybe 3 new songs i have started.... thanks to cory letting me use his guitar.... but i think i just did... i could talk about how i've been in a bit of a writing slump... it's tricky to record a busy weekend.... and i think i just did... so cory.... here's your update foo....
friday i woke up and msned CB and asked him if he wanted to go golfing again.... we had been golfing the sunday before and we tied... 66 on 9 ... well on friday i got 78 and he got alot lesser.... i think he was 69 or 68 i think... might have been 72 though... i don't really care cause that rookie beat me either way.... it was 21 degrees and there was only 1 other group playing... so we took our time.... we had fun... when i came home i relaxed with some bbq steak and corn and then some online racing with my brother...
saturday i got up and it was still nice... we maxed at 19 degrees... although it was raining... i helped my mom pick up her new deep freeze... i took it to her place and drove down the hill to the back door... when i went to leave i couldn't get up the hill... my brother and i got wet as we tried a few different methods.... perhaps we were a bit stubborn to just try the tow method... or was it that we couldn't find a rope... but he did find one and we doubled it up a couple times and with his rig i was up the hill and as soon as i untied the rope i was on my way to town to get my amp and bass... and headed to my first band practise with 2 gauthier boys ... we plan on playing a party for cash oct 28th out near york point... or rice point... i forget... although practise was short lived as the drummer had an appointment to go to after 45 mins... so i came home and took it easy untill my sis came over for corn...i cooked up a steak on the bbq and we had a feast... we did some jammin and then .... she left.... but i should mention that she brought me cider from halifax... and i'm happy she did... cause well it involves sunday... so after she left i was gonna play some online racing with my bro but we kept getting an error... so we called it off and watched the season premeire of SNL.... bboring...
sunday i got up and it was nice to relax and watch a movie or 2 then i got ready to have turkey dinner at my aunt's and then we jammed.... i brought the drums i bought recently ... we played some classic covers and it was my first time as the drummer in a situation like that... and i think i did a pretty good job... most of the family was having "a couple" and lucky me i had a couple of ciders... so it was the first time really drinking around the family... although it wasn't like i was drunk... anyways... around 10 we packed her in and went home and relaxed...
monday i got up and i felt like i was getting sick... so i called it off... i was supposed to jam but i just didn't think i should.... i think my system said... take a day off and stay in bed... so i did...
tuesday i was supposed to jam with a 3rd project but the lead guitarist had a death in the family ... so we called it off...
last thursday we played poker.... and i won.... i plan to do that again this friday ... so watch out...
i didn't know that you had links to people blogs on your blog cory... stop being such a baby.... geez your kranky when your sick....

I've never seen the show myself but I've talked to Lex Luthor aka Michael Rosenbaum at my hotel quite a few times. Nice guy.
