the supa dupa scoopa

so lets see... holiday practise on good friday... then the show at brennans... it went well crude humor but i know what i was getting into and i think it went over pretty well... we get together on sunday to discuss the future of alkahogg... the music sounded pretty good from the video footage i saw... after we were done playin our drummer started to jam a beat... and since he was percussion in the next band he was already set up with his gear... and the drummer from the other band (fugato) started to kick a beat too... so he yells at me plug is back in and try to keep up... so i did... 11 mins later the music finally stopped...

the next day was sunday and i was supposed to go to breakfest with my family... but i was so hyped that i couldn't get to sleep and then i couldn't get up early enough... it was pay day so i raked some leaves and took care of some work stuff... and then called it a day to watch simpsons and kenny and spenny... my new favorite show... it's on after TPB on sundays... it's pretty cool... so far anyways...

monday was a work day... but i was able to relax for the later part of the day... tuesday was the same but i got alot more done... wednesday i played some pool and then watched a new "lost" and then today i bought a cam corder .... im' so excited... i also got approved for credit..... so that's good news... i don't want to use it other than for renting cars... that's how you rent cars.... i dont' have to charge the card... although i should just to get the airmiles... anways...

i was at kickboxing today and we were working at our punches and our kicks and our general fitness... after running 6 flights of stairs 3 times we have to do a semi squat and the instructor barry comes by and kicks you in the leg from and random direction... it's kinda funny... it is a pretty intence work out and everyone is tired in the end... but i have learned lots and it is fun... i didn't even think that there was going to be cute girls there... but it turns out there's lots... most of the class is girls... i'd say outta 30 there are 20 girls... i was talking to my brother about it a bit and i might switch to a different martial art down the road... but for now this will do...

that's the schoop peeps...

i should mention that it's a warm 14 degrees or it was and that the gas prices have dropped to 95.7 per liter... perhaps calole or calvin can post the gas prices in vancouver in my comments?

i have more important ladies to talk about... but that should hold you over for now.. i've typed enough for one week ...

IMPORTANT FEMALES IN MY LIFE episode 2

i am going to talk about Tomomi. She is from Japan and she was living in Vancouver as a student. I was going out with a woman named Greer and we had broken up... she still wanted me but i wanted to move on... so one night i went out to blow off some steam and so i went to my favorite rock based dance bar called "luvafair" and i was dancing up a storm to songs like "zero" and "hey man nice shot" and if anyone has seen me dance i'm not your traditional style ... i get jumpy and wacky... so over come these 2 girls from japan that i've never seen before and i'm thinking that they are into me... so the lights come on and i'm thinking i need to get a phone number and or see if she wants to go someplace to get another drink... so we ended up going to an after hours bar that cost me 20 bucks to get in and they only had cheap beer that cost more than 5 bucks and it was hot in there... so we left and went to denny's and had breakfest at 5 am... i finally got her number and i called her a couple of days later... i found out who she was a little and it turned out she was interested in learning how to play the bass... so had an arrangement ... once a week i would come over with my basses and give her a lesson and she would cook some food... she got to try some new recipes and i got to spread some musical goodness... after abuot 6 monthes she told me she really liked me but she had been reluctant for a personal reason and that if i was still interested we could be together... i said yes and we were a couple for about 9 monthes... we talked about our future and she was planning on going to japan when she was done of school and i was planning on going to costa rica some day ... after that i didn't think it was a good idea to be together...

so after a monthish we did talk a little and when she was moving to japan for a couple of monthes i helped her with some stuff... that was the last time i saw her before i moved back to PEI... she sent me a letter and some candy for new years the following year and then last year in 2004 i went to Vancouver to visit everyone... and of course since she was living back in the GVA i wanted to see her too...

we met up at the first night of fireworks and then we hung out the whole time i was there... she was the only one to come with me to the airport when i was leaving...

2 weeks from today she will be here to visit me for 4 or 5 days... it's gonna be pretty cool... she's only heard of anne of green gables ... it's not a big deal to her... i'm excited to show her around pei and just hang out and have a really good friend visit me... life is good

IMPORTANT FEMALES IN MY LIFE episode 1

i would have to say that the more important female in my life would have to be my Neice Abby Grace. She is in grade 1 this year and she is taking french immersion... i didn't know she could count in english as far as she counted in french the other day... today she was sick and running a fever of 102... i've met a few cool kids and she is definately one of them.... she even sang us a jewish song today... apparently she learned it in kindergarden... oy vey...

so i'm going to do a series on the women in my life and although Grace isn't a woman yet she still deserves to be included... i've already talked about my mom and my sister... family first of course... so now i'm going to chat about the friends that are girls and some that have happened to be girlfriends...
