one month ago

i was excited about the beginning of july i thought that it would mean that there was going to be a month of hot hot weather... but well it's been fairly lame... i went swimming once.... bah....

i bought a 500 peice chip set in the steel case for 50 bucks and i bought a fold out table and a bunch of us try to get together for poker on tuesday nights... i have one 2 of my first three games... it now seems i have a nemisis... he's one 2 in a row... the last 2 games although he went home first his first night... nice hussle...

so i went to nova scotia last friday...i wanted to catch the 2:00pm ferry but when i got there it was a full load... so i went to my cousin neils for half an hour and then he came down and hung out with me at the terminal for another half hour... sailing took 75 mins and there were 2 girls performing some acoustic songs.... i never saw that before... hung out with my cousin robert for the rest of friday... saw his house and his kid and we went to dooly's for some pool... the next day we went and had some breakfest and i left for amherst... where i saw my dad and his new house and my grandfather and his old house... at 5ish i headed back to home which i was back around 6:30ish... it was a good trip...

it's now July 27th

the summer has come and gone... my blog has inspired some intereting jibberish in the past... comments included... it hasn't been a year yet... bit i've told some story's and i don't think i've told any lies here... some people here or who have been here have learned about who i am and some of those people have respected who i am and still appreciate who i am and what i stand for... others have had other views and i respect that even if they don't respect that... this is my "my opinion" blog... it's a place for me to vent to no one... and for my friends and family to get a glimps of what makes me tick, giggle, and rock...

it started a couple of years with my friends blog ... calvin... or sometimes known as hobbs... he got married this day or actually yesterday to carole... who some thought was my cousin... apparently we look alike... enough to be family... and i had never met her before that night... anyways... calvin started his blog and i read like a daily new paper untill it became a weekly update or monthly update in some era's... either way... it inspsired me to start one as soon as blogspot started to get known... and here i am...

this blog entry is dedicated to their happy marriage and the many years of joy to come... i hope i grow old with them and never have to drink that chunky home brew with them...

it's stupid hot and i'm retarded

i love the heat... typing this is making me sweat... i waited 10 monthes for this and is it ever paying off... it's so hot my mom is getting a head ache... i don't know if it's the heat but it's hot... and hot elsewhere... it's hot tub hot... i've heard people complain... well start to complain... but i've set them straight... i love it... turn it up...

my first camping with out tobacco since i was little

it occured to me before that i claimed this is my first summer with out tobacco and well the summer isn't over... not that i plan on lighting up... but i should count those chickens before they hatch... anyways... i camped and there was no smoking going on... not from me that is for sure... i had my own spot and there was a bunch of people up at the feild... there was smoking going on there and at times i would have rather just sat in the smoke from the fire cause at least it doesn't smell as bad... there were some people there on E and that pissed me off... i didn't go camping to hang out in that environment... i won't be attending another outting like that.... it's a sad situtation when people can't go camping with out taking E... some of these people even freaked my sister out with what she called "hungry eyes" ... apparently people on E don't realize how creepy they are... sad sad sad...

that's ok though... i know where i can go camping in an E free evironment... so i learned a valuable lesson... tonight is cards night and there shouldn't be any E going on there... i'll keep ya'll posted

well we are going camping this weekend and the weather isn't going to be all that nice as far as i can tell... that's the best time to go... the weather has been almost the worst weather for summer time i've ever experienced so far... we've had 3 or 4 nice days so far that is it... i'm getting fed up... but maybe camping will change it all around... anyways...



i could go on about how my life has been since my last post but it's really just kinda been a bunch of the same old stuff with the exception of me winning my 2nd poker tourny... of course i've only played 3 so ha... talk to meat loaf... i'm outty

i boarded a plane destined for pearsons international airport in Toronto...
by the time i was in charlottetown it was afternoonish ...
i had a bunch of friends there to see me off... and i was greeted by lots of family...


it was a big change and adjustment for me... i'm still dealing with it...

i've been here 3 years and i'm finally getting settled... things are pretty good... i can't really complain...

for the last month at least i've not been able to breath through my nose... i've had some sorta blockage... at times my nose was running for hours ... sometimes is was really bad that it would wake me up every half hour and i would have to blow my nose... other times i would wake up early in the morning and my mouth would be so dry that i couldn't swallow because i was breathing through my mouth through my sleep... and well lets just say it sucked

so today thanks to mom... i had an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist... and after about 5 mins of some interesting behavior from a doctor who was 40 mins late for work... or at least my appointment.... he explained what his therory was and said i would need to get my head x rayed and also he was going to give me a shot(which means a needle) and said it would take about 24 hours to take effect... and well as u type this both nostals are breathable with a touch of booger... and it's been 15 hours ish.... plus he gave me a steroid nose inhaler... thing.... and i haven't taken it... anyways... that's the best news i could right about... i though life was good before... now it's even better... i can breath... i am going to sleep like a freakin baby....

tomorrow is july 1st... canada day... and well it's actually july 1st now... just 35 mins into it... it's not as warm as i want it to be but the summer might get better.... hopefully it will be so nasty that people have to water their lawns but aren't aloud too... just as long as drinking water is still ok...
