KRICKETS ARE ABOUND TONIGHT

so i was at the office on the phone with hugo.... and i got outta the truck... i heard a ringing..... i said shooosh.... and sure enough it was KRICKETS.... jimminy him self said hoy hoyio.... so then i went and got a few items at the sobeys on the other side of the trees and when i came out i could hear them... so i asked the cart boy... are my ear ringing or is that KRICKETS? he said i think that's KRICKETS.... i said right on.. first ones of the year... the moon is fat in the south... that's rare... it's usally fat in the east or the west... not in the south... then again... it's not usually this south... kind neet...

i gave an employee a "pep" talk... he was slacking...
saturday he turns in his time sheet with "i am quitting" written on it... turns out he didn't do his friday shift... or his sat shift... so after filling in with cory and then ball hockey and tpb i beat...

monday dealing with a new contract.... and uncle wally is home... needing help with moving stuff...
tuesday moving stuff.... work... i think i went for pool?

wednesday was more moving stuff and and more work... i also did a sobers run with woody and after i dropped him home cory and i did the driving range thing and then open mic.... that went well.... prime time spot..

thursday a snow storm... we had about 5 inches on the ground when i woke up... and uncle wally was back with a washer and dryer for my new place... and then some moer moving...and then there was a project job ...wax a floor and do a clean up... that went well...

but at 9 am i got a calll saying it was crap.... so i was worried my employee's weren't doing their jobs but when i got there everything was ok... the client didn't even check the improvements.... there wasn't anything wrong with the job.... i was actually impressed.... that was most of friday .... i took most of the day off after that.... but not exactly... i was supposed to jam with kara on friday but i guess that interfered with her other band... so i stayed home and jammed till bout midnight with my self... it was productive though... learned some new stuff... then went to brennans... all drinks were 4.25.... the music was ok... but the atmosphere was not so good...

saturday was sleep as long as possible and get up and go to morrel for another wax job.... over all it went well... long day though... long night... i got home at 2:30....

sunday i got a call from the thursday project client at 7:50am... i had 3 people set up to call me at 8. it was all attitude... but i got up and went over and took care of some garbage... and then touched up the pots washrooms... but my truck wouldn't start... the starter was usless.... so i called my mom and she sent joe.... basically we pushed it till it was coastable and jump started it... after that i went home and was gonna take a nap.... but spotless mind was on so i was watching that... what i saw was pretty goood.... some of jims finest work.... but i fell asleep... only to be woken up to forwarded personal calls for hugo who was taken his day off... ... that's all good... then i got up and went and subbed for a couple of hours... then i met my sister at the garage when i was dropping the truck off to be fixed... i managed to park on hills so jumping wouldn't be a prob,.... after me and the sis did some practising.... sorta... we both need work on the songs that we are planning on doing next time... if there is a next time... or when ever that is... after that it was time to get ready for tpb.... there was ball hockey but i was beat... i still am.... tpb was good... my favorite dooly's girl was there.... then homeward bound...

monday was ryans first day back to work... i got up at 9ish to make the call about the truck.... they were already on top of it... sorta.... parts were ordered... not bad for no appointment... but we give them lots of bussiness... so it works out... we kinda get priority... i don't try for it.... but when i'm in a jam that's how it works... that's super cool... so after the call i was awake... so i checked my net pages and then went back to bed... and woke up around noon... i think.... it's becoming a haze... but my cousin wendy was suppose to come and get me to go pick up the paper and mail.... and hopefully the truck too... but the truck wasn't ready and my sis happened to be in my area so i got her to run me around.... then it was off to start the new contract... or so i thought... it was really just a straight up orientation... so i left there and came home... but michelle called and so i went over there for a bit... she had a strongbow in the fridge and offered it to me.... so i ranted to her about everthing i just told you... and thought to my self i should write that all down here... so here i am...

except this is tuesday and last night i was in bed before raw was over.... i got up at 8am... did some work stuff and then watched "stuck on you".... i liked it... then i had an interview and got a taco and now i'm finishing this blog...

so the weekend was interesting... maggie had party... ryan banned smoking in the basement while i was downthere... well he sent everyone into the non furnished section.... and it was good.... we had a big jam.... check that link for pics.... since most of the weekend was spent with cory... and he took pics...

saturday was awesome... i got up early and attacked work and was done about 3pm which left me a good 5 hours of warmth in the sun.... it was like summer again... i think we got up to about 15?

that night was billy's last night in town for a while and i've never seen them play at the arms before... so it was cool... and it was better than i expected.... and to top it off maud was there with bells on... she was all dolled up for sean... usually she's in sweats and slumped over the grill at black n white but not saturday....

and how this fits in to saturday i don't know... good or bad.... i ordered cider... but for 6.25? that's pretty steep... but it was neet...

the story goes that woody and cory showed up here and as we hada couple before we went out we watched bills david blain dvd... it's pretty neet some of the stuff he does... but woody got ancy and said he was gonna call it a night and left... hmmmm... so cory and i made our way to the arms... and look who is there.... woody.... dang.... but abuot 1am he left and so did cory.... so i headed up to baba's cause michelles friend cynthia was home from hali and apparently they were all heading up there... but it was just cynthia there... so i said hi and drank my drink and left.... i went back to the arms and the band was packin up... so i said yo good show and left... i stopped to throw some pebbles at cory's window.... and said yo... but i had to get up early for work i figured i should just go home... which i did... it was nice out....

sunday was pay cheque day and someone at work had quit and left a lot of stuff undone... so i had to pick that ball up... and since cory ain't workin.... i hired him to help me out... we had a good day of work... shooting the breeze and avoiding a sweat... these places need me in there too... the guy that quit was on his way to being fired anyway.... so at about 5 i get the call to play ball hockey.... i dropped cory off and came home for 15 mins to rest
i had set it up to jam with that band that i'm supposed to drum for to jam around 5.... but i didn't hear from them so i said skip it... and i picked up cory again and we went over there to bunbury... we played some ball hockey for 2.5 hours i think... it was 8 oclock and the game became untied so we called it done....

i came home took a shower... my leggs were killing me and sorta still are... but we made the trek up to dooly's for TPB.... of course we got there early so we could play a couple of games first... the girl gave me the option to use the blue room right away... and i said yes... so 10 mins before everyone else started to show up... which was maggie and my brother i think.... the girl was horrible for service.... either that or there is absolutely no vip service once you are in the blue room...

so the show started and it was good.... after i still had the room for half an hour so i turned the sound off on the tv and turned up the new qotsa and played my brother.... i skunked him... i couldn't beleive it... usually it's the other way around.... then i played cory and sent him home with empty pockets... it was a good weekend ...

on another note... everyone gave me to much money for donations... especially my brother... so i rented the blue room for april 24 and it's on me.... that's this next sunday for the 2nd ep.... everyone is invited... ok.... and i almost forgot to mention... when i was paying for the pool the waitress said i had a free hour on my member ship "did i want to use it"? so i said ok... so ya... blue room on me.. no donations please

this week is crasy... subbing for quit guy and my father is in the middle of clearing all his possessions outta the house as it is sold... and he's moving it too NS.... load by load... so what ever... spice of life i say.... i'd bored with out all of this... tonight is a slower work night so i'm heading up to dooly's for some pool at 8 and that is my last 5 days i think...

it was 22 degrees in saskatoon yesterday....

last night i ended up going for pool with cory and woody... i lost the first game... but i think i won every game after that.... then mike showed up and i took his money too.... some one else was there and i promised i wouldn't talk about it... so make up your own story... actually i didn't promise... but i was asked not to right about it in my blog... so it ends there.... lets just say after i got stuck with the bill it all worked out.... afterwards mike and i came back here to work on some music... but i guess he drank to much cause he puked and wanted to sleep on the floor...

that's about all i can say right now... try that trivia....

Ya.. Spring Fever has set in..... I see people everywhere with dried vomit all over themselves.... and another thing.... moving your clock ahead that

ok so it broke... the spring is here... it doesn't mean it can't get worse... but we're having some of the warmest days in canada right here in ch'town... not in s'side or freddy town or not in vancouver or TO... but right here...i have the heat turned off right now.... it's been off for the last 3 days... and i wake up sweaty a bit... of course i wake at noon and my window is shut so that makes sence...


i was reading a punk board in vancouver and that was a topic comment althought the topic was about how many members but right at the end it went to people joining because it's spring and they are finally coming outta the wood work... and then some one said my title... which i copied and pasted....

i have stuff to talk about... i'm developing a story line that requires some pics.... and i'm basically waiting on the pics to get into it so i'm just making this post to post something...


it's 2 mor saturdays till tpb... that is less than 2 weeks... i rented the blue room at dooly's on kent... so be there... donations can be givin directly to me... thanks...

music is getting better... i think i'm outta my writers block... that's really what this place is about... it's supposed to be about my musical journey... a log of how it all went down? i have actually started writting songs for my next album... not lyrics though... just song ideas... and i'm impressed and excited... i have so much creative energy flowing through me ii can't sit still to channel it....
