tonight is the new years party...it's also my room mate ryans bday party...there's gonna be a lot of people here...should be interesting...i'll try and post something everyday from now on...but i'm still in a holiday mode...so what ever...chowder 

what have i been doing since? well lets see...friday was x mas eve...and there was a card game...saturday was pretty quiet...i don't think i took off my pj's.....sunday was boxing day...i had to help julie move....7 moves later we were done...i even squeezed in supper at moms and something else i can't remember...she gave me some cash....i gave some to hugh since he helped with 2 loads...thanks hughie...i really needed the money too...i had bills to pay food to buy and also i got something from ebay...so...i'm borke...anyways...we ended up going for a game of pool and a drink...which turned into spending all the money on pool and drinks....it was a good time though...i dont' need booze to have a good time...but sure do have a good time when i am drinking...the snow started to come down hard when we left at 2 on a sunday...i'm not sure how that works...but i didn't complain....monday was a shut down day...blizzard....50+ cm of snow came down...tuesday we were supposed to have someone here to clear out the parking and driveway...but we ended up shovelling and didn't see anyone till wednesday...booo....so now i'm broke and short rent...but since we had to shovel and couldn't get ahold of the land lord...he might encounter the same episode...yesterday me and woody drove around the rich areas to looks at xmas lighs....i wasn't impressed....oh well...today reminds me of last friday...hughie missed the liquor store...and today arron missed it...ha...sucka's....  

so hmmmm.so where was i?...oh ya woody's party...it was good....steve was home...and i had him talking to unb girls...it was funny...we did a small jam...it was tricky with collicutt on a 6 string acoustic...and me on my acoustic bass that i plugged in to my practice amp...we made it work...i had a good grove going...it was a good party over all though... 

the beard is back...i've been on holidays...i wasn't gonna write anything till monday...but i'm back early by popular demand 

dec 23...tis the season..my ass...it's like spring out side...it's -29 in winterpeg and only 1 in Vancouver... but it's almost ten here...it is supposed to get cold though and we do expect a white x mas..yay...do you like my new pic? calvin read my blog recently since he forgot about it till yesterday...he says i drink alot...if you read his blog you will notice that recently he was on the morphene and on the demerol....so what ever...good times i say...woody's x mas party is on tonight...should be interesting since alot of people have to work tomorrow...and a half day at that

i got cider...thanks to allissa and christi...fellow bloggers...they rock...so do the ciders....today i got up at 8am ...sat on the toilet for about an hour then headed up town to get the mail...then i came home and watch macguyver and 7 days and stuff....then at 2pm i had a power nap...at 2:30 nick came over and we did some music stuff...it was fun...my computer is working really well for recording...after he left i went up to allisa's sisters to get the cider...came home and cracked 'er... wrestlin is on at 1am...bumbed me out..finland and canada are playing hockey against each other in some class...junior or something like that...so what ever...i got cider... 

sat night chrissy and michelle were going out for drinks....they invited me but i opted to just have a couple of drinks at michelles...that was cool...we walked to the bar and i kept going..it was really cold...now it's like 9 degrees ...i shaved off the beard in case you didn't know 

friday was the party...i don't have a lot of good to say about it other than no one complained about noise...no one was injured...saturday i got up around 4...well i woke at 11 and went back to sleep 

so went and drank at dooleys downtown...and walked home... wednesday i ended up going out drinking at myrons....it wasn't that great...i ran into some people i know and did some networking with davis ward and maybe a drummer for my new music project...i didn't drink that much....but i drank more than i could afford...i was there surrounded by alot of kids...the girls all looked like 17 year old hookers...and i felt like a pervert hangin around there...me and my beard...dirty old man....my myron days are over...i left and went to baba's for half hour....it was open mic...billy collier went up and that was neet...he's so talented... then i came home and i was hung over... i'm gonna try and right smaller entrys from now on...but everyday... chowder 

so sunday was the tpb xmas special...i got my bonus and i had done some drinking on friday and saturday....we got to dooleys at 7..me josh and rob...we all have a lot in common...drinking and pool are 2...so i bought us all a shot and we played some pool...then i got some food from eastside marios and it cost me 20 bucks...it was yummy but the pasta sauce smelled burnt....but it tasted great...how ever the amount of salad and main course was nuts...i ate the salad and bit of the main course...and doggy bagged the rest...then everyone else showed up and soon it was time for the special...the show was great and the company was great... after the show it was time to pay for the room and the table...it was alot more than i thought it would be and not everyone chipped in...but that was all right becuase the night was on me sorta...we were gonna go to baba's but i guess it was closed  

seems i'm growing a beard...i don't really know why... 

i don't know what to say

it's dec 12th...thursday i jammed with 2 guys from riverview...NB ...they know my cousin rob...he's gonna havea baby girl this week...mighty cool....i don't think it's gonna work...maybe i could session work with them...maybe...anyways...friday was kinda slow....i hanged a banquet table cloth over my work station...it's got an interesting pattern to it and gives my room some depth...i was haveing a couple of drinks...and then... rob shows up...ready to go to the bar...so i had a shower and we went to baba's...it was cool enough but rob wanted to go to the VUG.... it was just as good.... for a friday that's not good for the VUG...so after a drink and cover at each bar rob and i were outta cash...so we walked to my place where there was more liquor except for my kinda booze so i got ready for bed....that was friday...after dimebag went down......that day i saw the coast card doing a search of the hillsbourgh...it was weird to know who they were looking for...when i got in i heard a rumor that a body was found...but not a confirmation on who the person was...and that who ever had removed the cat walk grate had been charged....but being a friend of a family member and not being the first to believe the hype...i just past the info on as info that i've heard..it turned out false...rumor is that kings county snr will be involved tomorrow.... but it could be a rumor...

so i had a couple drinks friday...last night i picked up a 4 pack to work on the tolerance...alot of good that did...i'll find out tomorrow...i watched a bit of mad tv and a bit of snl and alot of "last castle" with robert redford and james ganolfini..or tony soprano...as some might know him... it was really good... i recommend it..redford only does quality movies.... so then i played alot of poker... partypoker.com is a pretty need spiot...free tourny's all the time...it's a neet aspect to poker...when it's free...as far as i'm concerned shhh...it's the same....usually when i play free poker i may bluff a bit...but i usually show my bluffs...but last night i didn't bluff....i was laughin the whole time in one on one because it was like i was never gonna let up even if i could...poker is mostly about folding....you heard it here last....otherwise yuor stupid....well you probably shouldn't play poker...not stupid...it was a rush night for me...hardly even knew i was drinking....

today ....

today i woke up at 8ish...had to pee...thought about staying up...but sleep sounded better... got call about tonight around 1...so i got up...did the routine and headed for work...took care of that and watched the princess's bride and went back to work...got my check and had a shower.... and headed out...rob and i got there about 7pm..josh go there not 30 seconds later...so we started the nite off with a shot of jaggermifter each...then this girl he knows shows up on a staff party thing and buys us all drinks...her name... gabrelle...? i think that is not how to spell it...anyways...she asked to hang with us for the tpb special...which was a group of 12? and she wasn't there...the whole time was silent..all eyes were on the tv which i set at 35...it was a great special....explained alot and i can see bubbles parents in the movie...or and up coming ep.... anyways...on the way to a "close to home" established places....we stoppped to talk about it... then when we got there the place was closed....so we ended up at dooleys downtown...we only had drinks there.. no pool nothing else...just good friends and a bottle of pills...(pantera reference...) the night got later...and i got to know woody's roomies better...i walked home with woody and his roomy....now i'm here and watched the last of 6 feet under.... reminds me of everything that happened last week...although it was a lot more wack than what happened...now it's CSI miami....and just another aspect....but the dog with the nose viewpoint is cool...molester nabbs girl...gets in car an stop in alley...the dog smells the girls scent... reconizes the cars scent and can follow it...

Friday i checked out the studio at my cousins work...it's usible...spelled that wrong eh conway....went back later with nick but it was to late...we're gonne check it out tomorrow...


as far as my blog title is concerned i've said enough...but i don't know if i said enough...all that i've written what i have experienced ...but no emotion....i'm concerned for my friend and her brother... i'm concerned for the metal fans... there's not much i can do or say...either way...i feel a great loss and the news reports don't get much better...i went across the bridge yesterday...and it was realy foggy...there was an accident at the intersection...some moron in an escalade stopped with a blinker infront of me... after waiting and wondering what he's doing for 5 mins i went around him...with out ease...however he looked at me funny and the followed me...when i got home my friend lisa had just gotten home from taking her cousin to the QEH from an accident... so i really don't know what to say...except when i figure it out it will become a song hopefully....

RIP Dimebag Darrel Abbott

in 1996 my friend Andy Scott hitchhiked to BC from PEI.... to visit me and so we could go to a concert on july 26...it took him 3 days...his father drove him to the west edge of ONT. basically as far as you can drive in 24 hours... he sat waiting for one hour or maybe 3 for a a ride... when he got picked up the guy was going to moosejaw or something like that... as far as you could go in 24 hours basically.....then he got another drive from moosejaw or where ever to vancouver...it was 3 or 4 when he got into town... i took him to a strip bar called the cecil... he still had his big duffle bag....it was pretty funny... we had a few drinks and headed for home... on july 26 we went to the concert...
PANTERA AND WHITE ZOMBIE.... it was mega cool... Andy stayed for 2 weeks then started to hike home... he wasn't so successfulll...it took him 2 weeks to get to Quebec...where his mother got him a bus ticket... point being we both saw dimebag perform...we'll never forget it.
Pantera broke up last year....Dimebag started a new band called damageplan....last night he was on stage only one song into their set when some guy from ohio got on stage and unloaded 4 bullets into dimebag...he was killed and 3 or 4 others were shot too...within seconds a police officer was on the scene it didn't take him long to shoot and kill the gunman... they don't know why this happened...but the heavy metal fans are in shock... it reminds me of cliff from metallica or shannon hoon or alice in chains singer...tragedy....

on another note... a sad note... my good friend angela watts came by sunday night...more like monday morning to borrow a flashlight... she was going to go look for her brother tyler... he hasn't been scene since sat night/sun morning leaving a bar... he's 19 and everyone is worried about him... i've never met him but everyone says he is the nicest guy and i'm sure his family is very distraute over this whole disappearance.... if your live on PEI i'm sure you've heard about it... it's not a happy time.... i'm crossing my fingers and keeping my mouth shut...cause it's times like this i tend to say the wrong thing...

as far as the good news goes...well i've been sober for well over 2 weeks...not a big deal but trailer park boys are having their x mas special sunday night...it's a one hour special...it's also a prequel to the show and pilot or movie... i will be drinking... i've booked the blue room at dooley's on the ave.... all are welcome to attend but a donation would be nice...it's 20 bucks for the hour...10 to 11pm dec 12...i'm very excited... in other news...i jamed with a couple of guy sorta...i met them and we did play some music...but it was more of an orentation kinda thing...looks like we wil probably work together...and tonight i'm getting together with some other guys...maybe anyways... we'll see how that goes... tomorrow i'm heading over to cousin wendy's work...apparently there is a studio there that she was told to put to use...so...i'm gonna check it out... and saturday i'm gonna try to get to NB to get some cider...

tis been pretty slow on the home front...i've been taking it easy....joey was good....friday i got up and took care of some things...and then woody and i took care of somethings...friday he found out he was "let go"... which was his plan....except not this soon...so went up to hrdc and he started to file for his benifits... when we got there the ladie told us it would take him 45 mins to fill the thing out... as we sat at the computer to start...there were 2 girls standing there...i guess they were supposed to help in anyway needed...but they came over to us and said your starting that now...? we were like well we are gonna start...if we can't finish we'll finish on line...they were like ok...
with the 2 of us together we finished in less than 20 mins....booya... then we came back to listen to randy and mr. lehey on a halifax campus radio station online... it was funny... they were promoting the TPB christmans special on dec 12 on showcase... after that we went for food which turned out us going to sobeys to shop... i got some groceries and then we got a slice of pizza... it was the best pizza i think i've had in a very long time...maybe even ever.... then i took him home... and i chilled out the rest of the night...

10 am saturday morning woody calls as we had planned... it was my wake call... i rolled over and instantly fell back to sleep... then he called again at 10:30 and woke me up again... so i got up and went and picked him and his drums up... we went to ATC(atlantic tecnical centre).... woody is going to be doing some session work with a local artist named chastity... we unloaded the gear into the bay and rode the elevator to the basement... as soon as i stepped into the studio i reconized it... i had cleaned it when it was built 2 years ago... someone had goop on their boots and got it on the carpet... it was my job to clean the carpets... i got most of the goop out but totally unproffesional to walk around with goop on your boots on brand new carpet.... i could rant about this problem because it's very common everywhere... but i won't... so i got a small tour.... the booth...nice stuff...they have a hugh tv in there with a wall of speakers....apparently they do tv and movie production there...in the room that you can see from the booth is where woody was setting up his drums....big enough for a band to jam in but it would have to be a 4 member band...and that would be cramped...across the entry way was the theater...this room had 3 level steps... it was like a home theatre except it was the hugh.... you literally could use this room as a theatre... as far as i can tell they use this room to create surround sound for theatre movies and tv... i'm not to sure how often it's served it's purpose....it had 2 machines on a table in the middle... each costing 80grand each.... each had alot of lights and a small comupter screen....neet stuff....and then next to the machines...the matrix dvd trilogy.... the guy recording this project that woody was going to play drums on said he was thinking of trying a 5.1 recording just to try it.... so they set up the drums and the mics and started to work on the sound.... after a bit i figured i should leave... i hadn't had b fest and i though i might take a nap.... so i left... i came home and took care of some paper work for work....then it was chill out the rest of the day... around 5pm i put my pj's and my slippers and my robe on......mad tv and snl were reruns... snl was the imfamous ashlee simpson episode....so that brings me to today...i'm gonna post some pics of a web page i check daily...

the past 3 days

monday i woke up around 9:30am...a big difference for me.... but uncle wally was in town and leaving after noon....we had some bussiness to take care of and we were gonna do it at 11...so i checked my email and had a shower...ready to for 11...but no....he's gotta go for a haircut...by the time he is ready i have a truck...so i went over and did what i had to do... i did my job and came home to watch wrestling... it was good...it was a 3 way title match and hhh lost...but to who we don't know...benoit and edge both have a good reason for winning it...edge tapped out as benoit got the 3 count on him...and with 2 referee's saying it went both ways...the show ended...moday there will be a desision i guess...

tuesday i didn't have a truck till later so hughie came and got me and we did some running around for work... i came home a created a new blog where i write as a different character...perantal discretion is advised... mom you won't be reading it...speaking of mom...she is going away...tomorrrow she leaves at 11am to fly to san diego and from there she gets on a cruize ship and sale for a cuople of days to hawai...the whole cruise last 15 days then she's back to san diego and straight to the airport to fly home... she booked this trip 18 monthes ago...wow...the whole thing costs them less than 100$ a day...holy wow...

wednesday i got up and stubbed my foot...it's hard to explain but it still hurts...then before i went out to run some errands it started to rain really hard and it got cold and the wind picked up...so around 5 i left home and tried to take care of some things... collecting my rent was one... i did that but my room mates pin wasn't working for me when i tried to get his rent... and then i had interviews to do...and outta 3 interviews only one guy showed up... i dropped my truck off to have the muffler looked at this morning...i watched smallville and then that 70's show...and then lost...lost was on at the same time that 70's show was on... so i taped it... it was good...better than that 70's show....


today i got up and picked up the truck...125 for a new muffler installed... not to bad...but i'm glad it's a company expense...then i did some more work... and got some grocery's....and fed the lizard some nice fancy food...banana and red pepper and some nice lettuce that he likes... the stuff that's good for him he'll eat but only because he's hungry... now it's time for me to eat and then i gotta try my room mates new pin... then pay the rent...and his car is in the shop for MVI so i'll probably try and take care of that too... joey is on tonight and that's what i'll be doing later...i'll let you know how it was....

today also marks 1 week and 2 days since i last had a drink...doesn't seem like that much.... but it's been along time since i've gone this long with out a drink...
